A nut at the end of a bolt, inside a circular recess on a wooden bed frame. The recess is helpfully too small to get the head of a spanner inside to tighten it. Presumably when we assembled the bed a decade ago it came with a little tool to get inside here, that has since been lost

The same recess with the same bolt, now topped off with a wingnut that’ll be a piece of piss to hand-tighten

Shoutout to our super-friendly & helpful local ironmonger/hardware shop who, when I was struggling and failing to find a sufficiently small spanner to tighten these bolts on the bed, suggested wingnuts instead and gave me two free. Try that level of service in Wilko’s. Love your local high street <3
