Lounge 33 sells vinyl and does coffee and exquisite vibes. DJ sets on Sundays. The Bowlers Rest is a wonderful pub with diverse crowd, cheap too and music most nights. Also consider the Mother Superior pub and Nauticus bar, wonderful spots.

Carrie (1976) | Review by Pauline Kael - Scraps from the loft Pauline Kael lauds "Carrie" for Brian De Palma’s masterful horror-comedy blend, Sissy Spacek’s stellar performance, and the film’s thrilling, trashy charm and innovative style.

It's fine. Likeable cast, started strong, meandered towards the end. The last 3-4 episodes repeated the same beats and themes again and again.

YouTube video by Rob Lightyear98 Who Framed Roger Rabbit - Toontown Scene

Just crossed the border back to Scotland. The rain stopped. The tarmac improved so driving was almost silent. The sunset appeared. A huge flock of gulls went overhead, a fox ran across the road.

I hacked InSpectres and briefly ran it as InSpace as the confessionals mechanic mapped to diaries/logs nicely, and I wanted a Bridge Finance Officer to regulate torpedo usage.

Ah, gotcha! Yeah, you need gaps. Gaps for anti-fragility, gaps for emergencies, gaps for just musing.

I used to follow a motivational speaker on X who had a great line about breaks aren't the reward for working hard. Breaks let you work hard.
