Today was wash day for laundry and the dog. Dog first which meant both of were wet and fur covered. I dried off myself the dog, then started the laundry. In an hour it all be clean and another hour dried thoroughly. Ah the aroma of damp or wet dog fills the house there is no avoiding it.

Do not lose hope or get angry. Stay strong and refute the lies when you hear them spoken. Most of this is well beyond the average Jill and Joe's pay grade so stay calm and safe. Take a walk or sit under a tree or in the sun and be Joyous. We live in America.

I was shocked that without any proof whatsoever of who killed Kirk, the left's first thought is that it must be a Democrat or Liberal. I grew angry at the president echoing these sentiments again with no suspect in custody and no evidence. Where is the president who wants a peace prize. He's GONE.

A touch of cold this morning, enough to turn the leaves a bright red on the maple out back. In the shadows, a whisp of frost touched grass to tickle my toes in my flip-flops.

Having removed and covered with concrete the original rose garden, the name is a farce.

Trump acted as judge and jury and afforded those people no due process. This seems to be a shameful pattern of this administration.

Laying down on my sofa breathing in the smell of chicken backs cooking in a soup pot on the stove. It brings back country memories of grandma Rhodie cooking up whole "soup" chickens brought in when those ladies stopped laying eggs. Always right after Pop prepared them for our consumption and her.

Democrats: Never make a threat you're unwilling to follow through on. Rescissions have made financial negotiations moot, so do it, close the govt. down. All adults know your kids will walk all over you if back down or make empty threats. I want Democrats to demand respect and stop the bullies.

Yesterday, I saw a Trump sign carried by a child at our county fair. My first reaction anger at the family bringing politics to the fair and then anger at them pushing that sign off on a child rather than carrying that sign themselves. Seems they were afraid of honest conversation between adults.

Trump stole the Republican party from old school Republicans. Creating a MAGA cult that's fearful of their leader's power being turned against them. Fear closely bonding its members, look to our ineffectual congress and senate all controlled by Republicans and deaf to we the people's true desires.

If Trump is pushing the boundaries then there is money to be made for him.

I try not to be enraged by the individual actions of the president, but I'm constantly ashamed of him and his failures.
His immigration policies and actions in Dem cities are going to get someone killed and that may be what Trump wants. I remember Kent State and the national guard firing on students

ICE is going to taze someone with heart problems and kill them.

I was and shall always be a loner. I never fit into the average girl box of expectations. Then mom changed a hair frosting into me being a platinum blonde. I was shocked that teen boys think hair color affects your morals. It was like flies on a piece of meat, and I hated that unwanted attention.

It's strange that over the years, what I miss the most is ballroom dancing. Where can you go to have an evening of dancing these days? Where are the men who would sweep a girl off her feet on the dance floor. Ballroom dancing is definitely a turn-on for me. I'm so showing my age.

What will this day bring? I ask for peace and understanding. A calming of the storms crashing waves pounding on our psyches, our souls. An understanding of how to fight the coming chaos and find answers that preserve our united states of America and our selves. Unify in your fight.

Having a German shepherd sleeping at the foot of my bed makes me fearless of the night. Her barking when she hears a noise wakes me from my dreams but reminds me of her value as my protector and I fall back asleep smiling.

The man who takes away my vote will find his bedroom privileges revoked for eternity.

When the moon is full, it casts moonlight across my bed. The light mellows what it touches, giving the whole room a golden glow. It creates a different perspective, like fairies dancing on windswept moon beams.

My something good - my brother who i had not seen for years, living in california, visited.

We must fight being overwhelmed by all the bad news coming out of Washington DC. Keep calm and know this is a long game, and believing we will win in the end is critical. Defeatism only drags our thoughts and expectations downward. Keeping a positive outlook a paramount virtue.

Simplicity in all things. A/C for the humid hot summer nights to get a good nights sleep and warm heat in the winter nights provided by a dog sleeping on my feet and 6 comforters and one quilt.

It seems America is being dragged kicking and screaming step by step down a path not of our choosing. Pushed by the powerful in Washington against our wishes. The noise is increasing, and DC is deaf or in denial of our displeasure. They risk much by ignoring we, the people, who employed them.

I fight the frustration of a country driven mad by Trump.
When will enough be enough that we do something. Stop the insanity and crude division of our country by hate and envy. We are the United States, but that seems torn asunder by ourselves. Sadly, I watch as history repeats itself again.

I am unable to see your mission statement and so have not joined regrettably.

Music quiets my frantic brain, as I rest my head on my pillow, open my eyes to the rooms darkness, sleep distant, as the troubles of the day surge filling my head with problems to be solved or jobs that need doing, use a pad to write it all down, empty my brain waiting for elusive sleep to claim me
