It does make me fearful - for my children and grandchildren. I just read your memoir, Coming Up Short, and learned a lot about why we are in this terrible situation.

I got a letter from Social Security saying my benefits were ending. It wasn’t a scam as there was no number to call. But they continued, so I ignored it. Mistakes are happening in that agency now.
