While I am not sure of the correct pronunciation 🥔, what I've seen of this work is impressive - good pansharpening is critical , especially with all the clientside overzooming that happens nowadays. Lots of imagery ends up with blown up and blown out artifacts, this looks like a huge improvement

The advantage is that you don't have to rely on the shear strength of the bolt which weakens over time. You can sort of see how I notched my posts and bolted them here - the weight is still directly on the post and the bolts add some rotational strength

I'm not sure I'm reading it the right way, but are going to mechanically transfer the weight from the joists to the beams (ie, with bolts) or place the joist on top of the beam (and connect with ties or notch the posts)? I tend to think the latter is preferable

I'm actually excited that you know about Seferis. I really enjoyed studying literature alongside the language, you realize how much the shape and form of the language informs the art - in languages like Greek, conjugation/article makes rhyming simple. You don't get syncopated wordplay like english

When I studied Modern Greek literature in undergrad, my final project was translating part of Mythistorema (Argonauts) into English. Poetic translation is really something, you see how much weight is on the translator to really understand the work from a whole set of angles
