I think it's one of those brands that started out years ago with a premium product, but gradually cut quality and hoped consumers would keep buying out of habit.

I was told that when I worked at a major medical center. N95s had to be fit tested, but it was okay to wear baggy surgical masks as is πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ.

Last I knew, the WHO stills considers it a pandemic, but the media doesn't always let facts get in the way of a narrative. Perhaps anything keeping COVID awareness going is better than nothing at this point πŸ€”?

They could always claim "new data" now indicates a more cautious approach to COVID, but there'd be too much pushback from Big Business and political donors.

The public has been fooled into equating it with more benign seasonal viruses to keep schools open and business moving.

One local school district is telling parents it's okay to send kids to school with COVID as long as they "feel well enough to learn". No quarantine or masking required. Madness.

Why bother? The official inflation numbers haven't come close to the real world for years, anyway.

He deflected the question from seats to monitors and overhead bins. I'm not holding my breath for seat width or pitch to improve in steerage anytime soon.

We've heard from many people who are interested in attending memorials in the United Kingdom or the United States – but Dr. Jane's wishes were that people honour her locally.

We're planning an official memorial event, which the public can attend in person and online.

Where are you located? Here in Southern California, I've found Thrifty ice cream sold at Ralph's and Gelson's. Not by the scoop, though πŸ˜•.

Coyotes are all over the SoCal hills as well, and I've seen them seemingly appear out of nowhere.

I imagine touring takes on a zen of its own after awhile, especially if you're truly on the road and not just flying in and out of venue cities.

I feel almost naked without one at this point, even though I do feel like the Lone Ranger sometimes.

I just heard on the news. So wrong. Even worse than licorice. In an unscientific poll of neighborhood kids, Kit Kats seem to be the favorite when given a choice.

I somehow figured they were legally required to escrow funds for winners or purchase them annuities or something to protect against future bankruptcy. I guess not.

Interesting! I recall learning as a kid that the oldest then-known mummies were from approximately 3400 BC(E) in Egypt.

20/20 on the short test. Now if we can just get more durable vaccines and more effective therapeutic meds.

I saw some local public school official on TV saying they now consider COVID like any other respiratory infection. Okay to go back to school once you're feeling well enough to learn. Nothing about masking, just a reminder to wash hands πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ.
