Last I knew, the WHO stills considers it a pandemic, but the media doesn't always let facts get in the way of a narrative. Perhaps anything keeping COVID awareness going is better than nothing at this point 🤔?

They could always claim "new data" now indicates a more cautious approach to COVID, but there'd be too much pushback from Big Business and political donors.

The public has been fooled into equating it with more benign seasonal viruses to keep schools open and business moving.

One local school district is telling parents it's okay to send kids to school with COVID as long as they "feel well enough to learn". No quarantine or masking required. Madness.

Why bother? The official inflation numbers haven't come close to the real world for years, anyway.

I saw some local public school official on TV saying they now consider COVID like any other respiratory infection. Okay to go back to school once you're feeling well enough to learn. Nothing about masking, just a reminder to wash hands 🤦‍♂️.
