Saudi is everywhere in sports. China is everywhere in sports. Going to be hard to dislike all sports and all athletes. The PGA Tour itself literally has had events in Saudi. Our own government has a strategic alliance with Saudi even after 9/11!! What does that tell us.

On top of that, this country is literally intertwined and does billions and billions of dollars of business with the Saudis. It’s just hypocrisy all around.

I just don’t understand why everyone has this sense of faux outrage against Saudi in golf but at the same time loves what they’re doing in boxing/combat sports. Not to mention *most* of the golfers who went to LIV were European/not-American. They don’t have the same issues with Saudi as US does

It’s possible for Judge to have the better year, but Raleigh’s year be more impressive and more valuable. It’s absolutely unheard of for a catcher to have a season like this. The position is so physically and mentally demanding. Where would Seattle be without him.

The thing is I don’t think Canelo hit him with anything that Bud didn’t see. Sometimes when you see a punch coming, it doesn’t hurt you as much. I also don’t think Canelo hit him with anything that was a full power shot — a true testament to the masterful defense and boxing of Bud.

People don’t realize how strong Bud truly is. He’s got freakish strength and I think he hit Canelo with some shots last night that has a bigger effect than anything GGG landed across the trilogy.

Still a generationally great fighter. I’m as big of a Canelo fan as they come, but even I see his limits as a fighter against top top level competition. Truly believed Crawford was going to be his most difficult fight.

Not criticizing at all, but in your opinion what makes Cantlay a lock? He’s not had his best year by any stretch, but does have a good track record in Ryder Cups - is that why?

Can’t see these being the lines. They’re unbalanced and nowhere near optimal imo.

No but Mika being a winger means you are forced to play 2 out of 3 of Brodzinski, Parsinnen, and Carrick. That’s not even remotely ideal. Mika needs to play C.
