According to Amnesty, the updated death toll for journalists in Gaza is 242.

242 journalists have been killed over the course of only 22 months.

For scale, 285 journalists died in the Iraq War over 22 years.

The difference is Israel is purposefully targeting them.

The Israeli military has murdered the entire Aljazeera Arabic team. They bombed their tent outside a hospital.

The US is upending a global system of aid and institutions with absolutely deadly consequences and to no long-term strategic gain, and only two senators on the foreign relations committee, Chris Van Hollen and Tim Kaine, actually seem to understand the stakes.
