Here’s Boo for your trouble. A feral cat who’s been a visitor in my yard for 10 years, who I started trying to build trust with maybe 5 years ago, and who finally let me pet her late last summer. Now she visits almost daily and it’s the best part of my day when she shows up for pets 🧡

One caveat is that even tho the show isn’t all that old some of the references haven’t aged well, but otherwise it’s made me literally laugh out loud which is necessary and welcomed so…

I’m so exhausted but the nightmares have been bad and real life/news seems to be bubbling up some really hard stuff and…check in on your strong friends or whatever. (It’s ok, I’ll be fine, it is what it is 🤷🏻‍♀️)

I finally started watching Ted Lasso. Everyone said “you’ll love it” or “OMG why haven’t you watched yet???”. IDK everything is so fucking heavy & waiting was a good call bc it’s been good & hopeful & a nice retreat from the daily terrors & nighttime nightmares (which’ve been brutal, friends)

Seems as though they have laid off their entire photography staff. Photojournalists don’t just take photos, we report, we pitch, we take photos while our lives and safety are under threat. We explore our neighborhoods, restaurants and sports with a creative eye. Photojournalists do it all.

I hate this so much. So many good stories aren't getting published because there are too few newsrooms that are willing/able to take the risk.
