I've gone back and forth on whether to post about this -- part of me that is so, so tired of flaying open the details of our grief just to beg the world to care.

We still don’t know what happened to the 1200 people who went missing from the Everglades facility.

They’re disappearing people.

No due process. No accountability.

Every $1 invested in SNAP generates $1.80 in economic activity.

It’s not about the money, Trump just wants Americans to go hungry.

Funds that we have already paid into with our taxes. Contingency funds that have always been used during shutdowns, that are earmarked to make sure this exact thing can't happen. This is cruelty on the part of the administration.

The best reading experience is opening a book to read a few pages before bed and then suddenly you’ve read a hundred pages and it’s an hour past your bedtime

I haven’t gotten to the fifth one yet, but I’ve heard nothing but good things about it. Book 4 didn’t work for me, unfortunately—I almost felt like the last third should have been its own book.

Consider how few anecdotes it took for the media to declare a Free Speech on Campus crisis.

Every day we get more evidence that the Republican Party is teeming with white supremacists yet elite institutions refuse to frame this as a crisis that needs the nation’s attention.

All of the toy-shaped mac and cheeses from my childhood (e.g., Pokemon shapes). The texture never came out right, and compared to how cool small me thought it could be, no pasta has disappointed me more.
