mario style enemy bouncing is one of those things that seems really straightforward but actually has a lot of weird edge cases like "what if bounce logic is in the player code but the enemy moves first in the frame and moves upwards into the player's hitbox" which are not unsolvable but are annoying

It seems like this game doesn't freeze when the music loads. I'd reckon the issue in the earlier games was the files Sylvie was using, they figured it out, and corrected it in this game. Already we're seeing them improve as a dev - super cool!
