Use a natural, organic approach if you feel the need to fertilize your lawn, it’s possible to have a healthy, green lawn without using synthetic chemicals. We are learning more about the effects these chemicals have on our children & pets. Let’s face it, they’re the ones enjoying the grass anyway.

This is leadership. The people affected in those counties in Western Maryland didn’t even vote for Governor Moore- it’s majority Trump country. But a true leader fights for all of their constituents, regardless of party affiliation. I hope the residents in those areas can see this for what it is.

I can be super snarky at times, but underneath it all is a well protected heart, after dedicating most of my life and career to working with and advocating for students and adults with significant special needs. My mom and dad taught us compassion at a very young age, we had to figure out the rest.

It’s 2025, you’d think we’d be past this. I come from generations of college educated (and beyond) women- when my daughter made the decision to attend a technical school rather than a 4 year college we were all supportive of her decision. Because IT’S NOT ABOUT US. Parents need to understand this.
