04.02.2026 23:44 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Wow! Danielle Martin is an incredible candidate for U-R.
Sheโs a strong defender of the universal Public Health system in Canada while being an advocate for reform.
Her pragmatic message has been that how we do things matters, and that many improvements donโt have to raise costs. Future HM?
Whether you agree or not with the premises here, it's refreshing to see a progressive party leadership hopeful outline a real vision they'll look at campaigns and policy through. The OLP and ONDP have been running a simplistic "Doug Ford bad" playbook for 8 years that is simply not resonating.

I think itโs really cool that Eric is making a run for Provincial politics.
Itโs always been the level with the most power yet least interest in solving housing issues.
Plus heโs super wonky #onpoli
In the Hub today, I publish why I am considering running for Ontario Liberal Party leader.
โYou cannot micromanage your way out of scarcity. You have to take risks, trust people and businesses, ensure healthy public systems, and then give productivity the space to work.โ

Thank you so much Colleen :) could not have done any of it without you!
29.01.2026 13:55 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0One of Eric's best qualities. He won't always end up agreeing with you but he will always hear you out.
For the bike lane Qs, know that Eric went into the mouth of the beast (AM 640) so that Ben Mulroney's complaints wouldn't go unchallenged, to make the case in a way that might convince opponents.
I was a long time City Hall follower but knew little about zoning until 1 chat with Eric during a pandemic Zoom. That's why I joined More Neighbours when he started it. Many were on the Yellowbelt's case before us, of course, but Eric motivated people to get involved politically, make change happen.

๐จ EXPLORATORY ANNOUNCEMENT ๐จ
Ontario can be so much more than it is today.
I am exploring a run for the leadership of the Ontario Liberal Party because I believe in growth, opportunity, and institutions that actually deliver.
Letโs talk about Ontarioโs future. ๐
Thank you so much!

Best of luck to Eric, and I'm keeping my eyes peeled for what's to come. ๐ซก
Iโm stepping down as Chair of @build_toronto.
Build Toronto is about giving builders, entrepreneurs, and civic leaders a place to argue for growth and non-partisan change for the benefit of our amazing city.
I am excited for the opportunities ahead, stay tuned. (3/3)
Iโm stepping down as President and Board Member of @moreneighboursto.bsky.social
MNTO started as a small group of people frustrated with the status quo on housing. Iโm grateful to everyone who showed up, spoke out, and helped move the conversation forward.
Iโm stepping down as President and Board Member of More Neighbours Toronto, and as Chair of Build Toronto.
Iโm deeply grateful to everyone whoโs helped build these communities. Iโm proud of what weโve accomplished together, and excited for what lies ahead. (1/3)
The MTSA zoning *should* be a confirmatory exercise but it will still be important to have pro-housing voices show up to make sure that happens. Find the public meeting closest to you.

Todayโs @build_toronto memo (and last one for 2025) is among my favorites.
GOOD CITIES REWARD RESULTS. TORONTO SHOULD TO.

This memo comes from Michele Romanowโ one of Canadaโs most accomplished entrepreneurs and investors.
My latest for @TheHubCanada
CANADIANS MUST OPEN THEIR EYES TO OUR GROWING CULTURE OF CORRUPTION.
This is not a left or right problem. It is a Canadian problem. And we must see it plainly for what it is.

We support housing of all types. You can too.
23.11.2025 04:25 โ ๐ 19 ๐ 6 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 1Want even better parks and public spaces in Toronto? With better maintenance, programming, and events?
Toronto already has a great example of a public space managed by a non-profit - The Bentway!
Todayโs memo is simple, how can we get more places like it?
Take a read!
The Bentway is a great public space. It transformed unused space beneath the Gardiner Expressway into a park, with art, recreation, and community recreation, that attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors ever year.
