Tragically, the outrageous assault of Sen. Padilla today is becoming normal behavior for a Trump administration which is moving us toward authoritarianism.

This is a moment for every American to STAND UP for freedom and for our Constitution.

If this is how this administration responds to a Senator with a question, you can only imagine what they're doing to farmworkers, to cooks, and to day laborers throughout California and across the country.

This is a lie. We all saw the video. The Senator clearly identified himself, and he did not "lunge" toward anyone.

Yes. According to Army protocol, congressional staff are VIP Code 5, with a rank equivalent to a two-star general/admiral. Members of Congress are of course significantly higher.

I have never seen USCP, FPS, or any other federal LEO treat any Member with anywhere near this disrespect and violence.
