Look after yourself- don’t try to do too much too quickly

I can’t do either when the head’s out 🤣 but it’s something I’m building into the timetable for next year for all of SLT. That’s a great mindset though - I have to do a daily reset where I weigh up all of the pluses as well as the minuses - it’s the only way through

Does anyone just spend the entire time cringing when watching the apprentice- I don’t think I can watch anymore

Limit weekend working
Netball twice a week on Wednesday and Sunday
Putting on the do not disturb on my door when I have vital work to do
Blocking into my timetable where I don’t have any lessons and don’t plan any meetings to potentially do big thinking work

We're 5 months into January but we can now confidently say that there is only 1 day left! It's been a long one but you did it! We did it and we're almost there.

GCSE English Language: updates to our assessments for summer 2026 Announcing changes to increase exam paper and mark scheme clarity for GCSE English Language.

Updates to 2026 AQA English Language exam:

‘The changes will affect current Year 10 students taking exams in summer 2026 and onwards. Current Year 11 and those students resitting exams in November 2025 will not see any changes to the exam papers.’
