Yeah that can be point of view on "price", and can be applied to anything in the world. It can be a point of view on general "subjective value", and can be applied to anything too. What's different to talk about "art" in that way? I think they miss their own point, hiding something for themselves

In this case it was looking at concept art only as business, as selling a product, like if that belief somehow assured him of something... maybe like you say, trying to cope with his corporate environment

Several years ago when I was starting with digital art, I watched many videos of a famous concept artist that was very emphatic on his view that "concept art" wasnt "art". Sadly I think much of this superficial view of art has many roots in the entertainment industry somehow.

Looks pretty. The character looks a bit like the original Edward Carnby, the bedroom also reminds me of the first Alone in the Dark game.

Well that loaf of bread was probably harder than any known man-made alloy, so it would help crushing any alien armor getting in the way. A pretty smart companion would also be very helpful! I don't think these aliens will be fooled by the nose glasses though.

I'm very glad! It may not have been all that intentional, but I guess some things just get engraved in your mind. Some memory must have been summoned in me by the Mars location. I realized the similarities while in the middle of the painting
