@RepThomasMassie
I am not suicidal. I eat healthy food. The brakes on my car and truck are in good shape. I practice good trigger discipline and never point a gun at anyone, including myself. There are no deep pools of water on my farm and I’m a pretty good swimmer.

INBOX: Rep. Thomas Massie, who has enraged Trump for his insistence on blocking tariffs and releasing the Epstein files according to the law, just issued what is widely known among Chinese dissidents as "a declaration of no suicidal intent" (不自殺聲明), a sign of extreme distress.

9:20. Rebecca, you're being very unfair. The reason why Democrats moved to the right on immigration is because the electorate itself moved to the right on immigration since 9/11. By 2024, as many as 55% of Americans wanted to curb immigration according to Gallup. Back in the Bush administration, the Democrats did try to pass a pro-immigration reform bill but they could never garner enough support. Back in 2007 for instance, Harry Reid and Ted Kennedy tried to pass an immigration reform bill that would have provided legal status and a pathway to citizenship to those 12 million undocumented immigrants, but it faced opposition from both the right and the left. From the right because of obvious xenophobia, from the left because of
purity-testing. Bernie Sanders btw voted against the bill from the right-wing perspective.

@admiralfrancis8424 • 6 hours ago @RebeccaWatson Rebecca, this is not intellectually honest of you. If you want to adequately solve a problem, you need to understand what caused it. And if you're going to criticize Democrats for shifting to the right on immigration, you need to address their previous attempts to shift to the left and why those attempts have failed. You cannot fault
Democrats for hesitating to support a policy that they know from recent experience will fail.

I can, in fact, fault Democrats for behaving immorally in the hope that they'll be rewarded.

@admiralfrancis8424 • 3 hours ago (edited) @RebeccaWatson Rebecca, this is very disappointing. You are muddying the waters and twisting my words. First of all, you are disingenuously conflating the right-wing narrative that immigration is a problem with the narrative that undocumented immigration is a problem. Democrats have conceded the latter framing (and have repeatedly proposed plans to grant them a pat…

I absolutely love when centrists say that I'm a hypocrite because I've never had to choose between morality and wealth and fame. I actually chose morality very publicly! You can look it up! lmao

i think nominating Gavin Newsom will lose the White House again for Democrats. The party's left flank will stay home again because he's an empty corporate shell. The age of Democrats punching left to appeal to the center is over and it's now a matter of if the party as a whole realizes that or not.

Heraskevych’s choice to forfeit the medal chance instead of give up the memorial helmet is the biggest story in Ukraine today. Everyone is heartbroken but there is a unanimous consensus that this was what had to happen rather than to give up.

Right, but that was after he already directed Armored Core 4 and its sequel. I'm not surprised they let him direct Demon Souls after he already directed a couple games. But before that, how did he bridge the gap between bring brand new (to the company and the profession) and being a game DIRECTOR
