I had a four hour flight and I'm delighted to find that C.L. Polk's EVEN THOUGH I KNEW THE END is also four hours by audiobook and it was a wonderful way to pass that entire flight. Utterly entertaining, with voice for days, and just the right emotional stakes. What a great fantastical noir. ❤️

Azula needed an Uncle Iroh figure who could love and accept her with her flaws but also guide her to making better choices. She's a great example of how people need support in changing and doing better, very few people manage to make that change on their own.

I usually come up with the ending first and it often is the culmination of what I wanted to say with the story. The ending comes first and then I work backwards trying to figure out the most compelling way to make the statement.
