Today was my wife Krystal and my 10th wedding anniversary! We have more planned for when we can take time off but for today we learned how to blacksmith and made metal chopsticks together and then ate UNBELIEVABLY delicious Korean BBQ. Such a great day with my favorite person on Earth

I feel like I say this every year but I really need people to hear it. Halloween is the best American holiday. Just kids outside welcomed into their world, marching around together, showing off their costumes to the elderly, parents meeting parents, neighbors catching up with neighbors.

A science fiction space themed homage to Edward Hopper’s 1942 masterpiece “Nighthawks.” Phillies diner is now part of a space station, somewhat eroded by time and mis-care floating overtop of a planet with swirling fluffy clouds and two burning moons near an asteroid belt that stretches past the back window. Space and other planets lie beyond, dotted endlessly with stars. Inside the diner a robot bartender serves a man in a mechanized space suit and cape, a retro futuristic astronaut complete with bowl helmet, and an alien woman in a reddish space suit with a snout and horns who all sit at a triangular bar under bright yellow lights. There are a few hidden characters, and a couple cameos for you to find hidden around the piece as well. Painted digitally by Jeff Pennington for client Jon Anderson.

Our front yard, currently, filled with fake graves and skeletons and boogins and the like.

A fake grave in our yard cordoned off with a fake broken iron fence with “See You Soon” written on it and a skeletal hand bursting out of the ground and waving to you, neighborly.

A fake skeleton seemingly buried in the dirt and being choked by the huge tree root in our front yard. He’s gripping at it to try and escape.

Our normal little turtle sculpture we keep in our front yard flower bed we named “Koopa” but he’s wearing a spoooky ass vampire cape and hamming it up for the camera. Behind him is a fake gravestone that reads “R.I.P.” and then some hostas.

DC Comic’s biggest money maker Batman illustration in black and white. Batman is caught in the light of an open door catching him in the act of investigating a filing cabinet in a jet black room. He’s holding a flashlight and illuminating a small portion of the room behind him while glaring at the person that has discovered him. Sunday Rewind: This is the piece that was THE big breakthrough for me back in 2017. A husband commissioned me to do a detailed portrait of his wife in her bridal veil and jewelry and it was super daunting but it basically opened my third eye for realistic-leaning art lol
