Digital illustration/ fanart of the original 1971 Kamen Rider series. Hongo Takeshi poses dynamically, ready for battle, in the foreground while his other form, Kamen Rider, mimics the same pose over his shoulder, the symbol of Kamen Eider over -his- shoulder. Behind them a silhouette of Hongo, casting a long shadow, steps in from the bright daylight into an old dilapidated church with high tattered banners. A burning red light at the bottom of view casts a demonic, inhuman shadow across the floor back towards our hero. Art by me!

Hongo Takeshi/ Kamen Rider faces off against a shadowy inhuman in the moody blue darkness of an abandoned church!

Just a proof of concept for fun

A commission chart with examples of my art and prices for different categories of art. The three categories are Sketch (represented by a very hard boiled Jar Jar Binks 1940’s noir detective), Line Art (represented by a recreation of a chapter illustration from Dragon Ball Z starring Giga Cat Mario as SSj Goku and an astonished Bowser as Frieza), and Full Color (represented by a digits painting of Malenia, Blade of Miquella, from Elden Ring.)

Hey folks, I’m open for work and commissions! I’ve got bills and rent to pay and Patreon has decided to withhold a huge chunk of my Storylords income so it’s the perfect time to get some art made!

The anvil I used in the blacksmithing class with my hammer, forge gloves, and the chopsticks I made sitting on top of it. You can peep the tip of my Chuck Taylor in the bottom middle too.

My hand (top) and Krystal’s hand (bottom) holding the two sets of metal chopsticks we made during our blacksmithing class. They ain’t ugly, they’re our utensils! You can see various forge related things in the bg including the action forge itself spitting out hot ass flames.

Today was my wife Krystal and my 10th wedding anniversary! We have more planned for when we can take time off but for today we learned how to blacksmith and made metal chopsticks together and then ate UNBELIEVABLY delicious Korean BBQ. Such a great day with my favorite person on Earth

I feel like I say this every year but I really need people to hear it. Halloween is the best American holiday. Just kids outside welcomed into their world, marching around together, showing off their costumes to the elderly, parents meeting parents, neighbors catching up with neighbors.

Main artwork for M-Class Podcast, digital minimalist portraits of hosts Jeff Pennington (back) and Josh Henderson (fore) saluting while wearing Star Trek: Strange New Worlds era Starfleet uniforms. Three Enterprises, or Constitution-class starships anyway, fly diagonally in the background in colored silhouette, each one a division color of officers aboard a starship, red, yellow, and blue. The M-Class Podcast logo resides in the bottom left corner and a white outline appears around the space nebula in the background. Art by Jeff Pennington.

Digital illustration of pulp comic book and film character The Rocketeer blasting through stormy clouds with his famous jetpack. A science fiction space themed homage to Edward Hopper’s 1942 masterpiece “Nighthawks.” Phillies diner is now part of a space station, somewhat eroded by time and mis-care floating overtop of a planet with swirling fluffy clouds and two burning moons near an asteroid belt that stretches past the back window. Space and other planets lie beyond, dotted endlessly with stars. Inside the diner a robot bartender serves a man in a mechanized space suit and cape, a retro futuristic astronaut complete with bowl helmet, and an alien woman in a reddish space suit with a snout and horns who all sit at a triangular bar under bright yellow lights. There are a few hidden characters, and a couple cameos for you to find hidden around the piece as well. Painted digitally by Jeff Pennington for client Jon Anderson.

A black and white digital painting of Captain Jean Luc Picard from Star Trek: The Next Generation dressed as his Holodeck counterpart, hard boiled 1940’s detective Dixon Hill. He wears a classic detective’s outfit of fedora, overcoat, suit and tie. He’s illuminated by a light source coming through Venetian blinds off screen in a mostly black dark room otherwise. “The Big Goodbye by Tracy Torme”, the title of both the episode this is homaging and the fictional book the episode is based on, resides to the right of Picard in stylized lettering. Art and lettering by me, Jeff Pennington.

A test comic page for a short comic titled “Space Ghost: Host No More.” Digital illustration in the style of the classic 60’s Space Ghost cartoon mixed with the psychadelic additions circa Space Ghost: Coast to Coast and Cartoon Planet. Space Ghost breaks through a wall to find Brak left behind by the other villains for not being evil enough anymore. Brak accuses him of coming to ruin his fun and throws a vial of a suspicious liquid into his chest, to no avail. Art by me, Jeff Pennington.

Digital painting and design piece based on the Star Trek Deep Space Nine episode “Little Green Men.” Quark, a Ferengi with large ears, sharp teeth, and an extremely gaudy patterned suit, is pointing his death ray (index finger) at a human woman in a 1940’s style military uniform with curly hair and a terrified look on her face. An overlay features text in the style of a 50’s sci-fi B-movie, featuring a logo which reads “Little Green Men” in shocking text over a glowing green Earth and under a small green UFO. Text in the bottom right list the major player actors of the DS9 episode in the style of a classic movie poster. Art by me, Jeff Pennington.

Digital illustration created for the indie game Poulet Poulet. Poulet, a spherical chicken wearing sunglasses with a red quoff, is posing jauntily in the air overtop of a bustling world filled with enemies hopping around, orbs to collect, treasures to find, and different biomes stretched across its surface. Islands and clouds float in the air improbably all around the sphere. Art by me, Jeff Pennington.

Digital painting of Mega Man standing strong, his fist clenched, facing left at his enemies, the robot masters, from the video game Mega Man 2. They are, from top left: Air Man, Wood Man, Quick Man, Metal Man, Crash Man, Flash Man, Heat Man, and Bubble Man. All of the Robot Masters have red glowing eyes and are standing on a black, shadowy field tightly packed together in a frame beyond Mega Man’s depth. Beyond their frame is space and speckled stars. The Mega Man 2 box art logo resides in the top left. The designs of Mega Man and the robot masters are all those originally created by Hitoshi Ariga for his manga series Mega Man Megamix.

Digital painting based on the Nintendo Switch video game Super Mario Odyssey. Mario, wearing his original inverted color outfit from the first few games he appeared in, is riding a yellow Vespa on a city street in a fish-eye lens perspective. He’s smiling broadly and looking up at the sky, his head tilted to the side and eyes off in the distance. A small iOS messenger word bubble appears below that states “this ur uber, am outside” implying that Mario has texted you this photo and is here to pick you up for Uber. Art by me, Jeff Pennington.

Digital portrait of Elden Ring character Malenia, Blade of Miquella. She is touching a digitized butterfly from the Kirby series of video games because that’s what the client wanted and I did it even though it’s kinda made this portrait not of the zeitgeist but whatever. The touch of the butterfly is digitizing Malenia, her lower half already transforming into broken apart glowing pixels. She wears a golden prosthetic arm and golden winged valkyrie’s helm, dark red cloak with a furred neckline, and a series of overlapping robes with golden accessories. What can be seen of her right arm is rotted into an indiscriminate inhuman tone. Her red hair is flowing from beneath her helmet, framing her body on either side.

I’m gonna be real it’s getting a little iffy going this long without any work so if you’ve been holding off hitting me up for a commission or any longer term work this is the PERFECT time to reach out!

Photo of me and my wife Krystal standing in front of the “Welcome to the Maryland State Fair” mural looking very cute together. Don’t get scared by the skeletons on my shirt they’re not real.

Photo of me standing next to a big ass carnival prize plushie of something, I couldn’t really tell what it was supposed to be. A giraffe with no neck? A cow? Anyway I’m 6’3” so this bitch was huge.

Photo of three very reflective gentlemen in top hats and holding canes. I know they’re meant to be the colors of the flag but they remind me way more of Gavan, Sharivan, and Shaider, the first three Space Sheriffs.

Went to the Maryland State Fair today and had a kebab and a frozen banana. Pretty sick day all around tbh

DC Comic’s biggest money maker Batman illustration in black and white. Batman is caught in the light of an open door catching him in the act of investigating a filing cabinet in a jet black room. He’s holding a flashlight and illuminating a small portion of the room behind him while glaring at the person that has discovered him. The reverse letters on the window behind the cabinet read “Gordon” and below that “Commissioner - Gotham” and a small photograph of Barbara Gordon rests on top of the cabinet to showcase exactly where this is.

Batman commission for a dope client! I’m a big fan of detective Batman specifically so I ran with that

Digital portrait in a hard edge style of an Indian bride in her traditional wedding veil and jewelry all paintstakingly recreated using fields of color with a mouse. This technique still lives to this day in my standard M-Class Podcast art and the first stages of my realistic portraits! Art by me, Jeff Pennington, who posted this. Have a nice day!

Sunday Rewind: This is the piece that was THE big breakthrough for me back in 2017. A husband commissioned me to do a detailed portrait of his wife in her bridal veil and jewelry and it was super daunting but it basically opened my third eye for realistic-leaning art lol

THIS IS A PAINTING I MADE! A friend told me to include that on these lol

I love Ro Laren a ton so when the opportunity to paint her portrait for an episode of my podcast came up I leapt at it. Funniest part? I’m not even on this one!

Digital illustration based on the video game Donkey Kong Bananza. Donkey Kong, a big gorilla wearing a tie with his initials on it, is punching out King K. Rool, a huge crocodile with a golden stomach and crown wearing a big billowing red cape, sending bananas flying everywhere from the massive force. Pauline, a little human girl, cheers on from DK’s shoulder underneath the gigantic SFX letters “WWAMM” emanating from the strike.

This is how I’m hoping Donkey Kong Bananza ends - Showdown with King K. Rool at the Planet Core!
