so many people are afraid to leave their homes right now. if you know vulnerable or at risk community members who have dogs you can offer to take their dogs out or to join them while they do it ❤️

found out one of my meds that i thought required my personal ID to pickup at the pharmacy actually just required someone who is 18+ with an ID 🥳

so i don’t need to leave to go get this medication and can have a trusted person pick it up.

i don’t trust anything the gov is saying either. one of my biggest concerns is that people let their guard down if ICE supposedly “leaves” and they actually return (or never truly left). i feel like i’m already seeing a decrease in patrollers or it was just a coincidence at the times i was out

even if ICE leaves Minnesota i wouldn’t celebrate because it means they’re going to terrorize other places in full force. we have begun to try to equip others but even then no one truly knows what this is like until they experience it. it’s abolish ICE or nothing. no one is safe if they’re around.

There’s not a way to negotiate with ICE without selling out some of the very neighbors we’re risking our lives to protect. This is a moral issue. Your willingness to negotiate shows you don’t understand the problem at all or our sacrifice, not that you’re somehow smarter or more rational than us.

Concentration camps are the defining issue in public health right now. Measles and TB outbreaks, healthcare being withheld as punishment for your race. It is not enough simply to turn the grants tap back on. To do so would make us the same as the Nazi scientists who discovered smoking causes cancer

They didn’t nominate “the city,” they nominated THE PEOPLE OF the city. The distinction matters, not least because “the city” seems to have forgotten that the whole damn metro area is resisting the occupation, which is something THE PEOPLE of Minneapolis are constantly reminding out-of-towners

This is just part of patrol. ICE threatens you, points guns at you, brutalizes or kills someone in front of you. Every day it's somebody new in our circle. We gather around them while they work through the stress and fear and then, to the person, they go back out.

My friends are so insanely brave.
