If we want to be elite, we can’t settle for mediocre. That’s a fact. Losing Hall would be horrendous, no matter the price we get.

Every other club around us, and well below us is strengthening and changing.

We haven’t, and that spells trouble. It’s worrying.

Hopefully Ramsey and Elanga are starting to come good and that’ll be like two new signings. But we’re desperately thin.

Ultimately though, #NUFC haven’t progressed in three years.

Of course we won a trophy, which is amazing.

But it does feel like we are stood still. And that won’t attract top talent, and certainly won’t help keep it.

A lack of investment this month given how we’ve been playing is crazy.

I do think we will lose players like Tonali, Tino, and Hall if we don’t get Champions League this year.

But I doubt it’s abnormal that agents offer their players around to clubs, with or without their consent.

If not getting a move, helps negotiation on current contract.
