One of the more incredible stories out of LA this year has been how a taco review blog became the best on-the-ground coverage of ICE raids in the city.

They do a dispatch every day, follow-up on the kidnapped people (which almost no media outlet has done), and fact-check government claims.

I helped someone move to CA from Ferguson MO after police used tear gas 2 blocks from her house and the wind carried it into the open window of her kids bedroom window. The son with asthma had to go to emergency room. Finding a police free route out of neighborhood to hospital was another nightmare.

Crescent Dev owns the Apt. building in Chicago that ICE raided. The owners of Crescent are Sonny Kahn, Russell W Galbut & Bruce Menin. All 3 men have ties to Trump in campaign contributions or real estate—someone with better investigative powers than I should look into this.

I love that no one's tried to send me the message that I didn't belong because my Hebrew is terrible. Or because I don't regularly attend services. I love that we have a program for pre-teens that frames the B'Mitzvah as a journey, focused on social and emotional health. 9/

I love our services (the few times I attend). I love our music, I love that our services are interactive. I love that we host things like "Labor on the Bimah" where we bring in speakers from the labor movement to have important conversations about the call to participate in community actions. 8/
