This is absolutely insane: DHS claims the right to subpoena your emails and to send investigators to your house. In this case, because a retiree sent the mildest possible criticism to a prosecutor. No judges involved.

Turns out I had previously torn my ACL & my muscles had been providing knee stability in interim. I had torn it further, but it wasn’t functional b4

I think that the crucial insight for dealing with Trump is that he has never experienced any meaningful consequences in his entire life and as a result, deterrence does not work on him the way it does for others.

The small saving grace is that my kids are now old enough to fold their own laundry and even put it away! The older one even washes and dries laundry himself.

The issue is that I cannot trust my husband or kids to do my laundry properly (e.g., wrong settings, dry things that can’t be in dryer)

I don’t mind washing and drying (yes, we have decently large capacity washer dryer)…but it’s always the folding that gets me.

This is genius. The only time we’ve done a laundry service is when the kids come back from summer camp. It’s an absolute necessity then.
