A deeply concerning approach by Labour, we have one planet and we are running out of time to save it, removing the right to challenge decisions is yet another example of an authoritarian government

We will of course need to do the best with the solutions that are available- the key for me will be proper and meaningful consultation with residents and all other stakeholders and consideration to internal structures, services and of course the staff who will face much uncertainty

It speaks of nothing more than an ill thought through power grab from the Labour government and far from real devolution centralisation of power and less opportunity for residents to be represented locally
