The arachnophobia mode in Monster Hunter Wilds has to be the most pointless thing I’ve ever seen. Why bother if it’s not going to do anything with the gigantic spiders that are in the game? Please patch this.

Are you aware that the “arachnophobia mode” in Wilds doesn’t actually work on the Large Monsters?
Possibly the most useless accessibility feature I’ve ever seen.

This is what I’ve been doing. I captured 2 Balaharas when I was supposed to be going to the forest. The game kept telling me I couldn’t hunt them for the quest but I did anyway and made 3 armour pieces out of them.

If you don’t care about the story just skip the cutscenes and mash trough dialogue. Then you’ll only have the walk and talk segments to deal with.
Otherwise it’s great, if a little easy so far (I’m still in low rank).

That’s still there in the optional quests section.
