Caveat: The last 2 times I said this I had to postpone for work.

FSHC is talking out of its ear on this one. If this were true, municipalities could put forward sites located in historic districts despite there being a good chance that an actual project would be derailed.

Ideally, I would do either St. Louis or the Driftless Region cities, but I don't think I have time for that.

The Southern/Appalachian route is straightforward. The Lower Midwest really depends on how much time I have. Maybe Akron/Youngstown > Fort Wayne > South Bend > Peoria/Springfield > Indy > Louisville > Lexington > Cincy > Dayton > Columbus > Pittsburgh > Harrisburg > Lancaster.

I'm considering 2 possible routes. One is Appalachian/Southern urbanism down to Birmingham and Atlanta. The other is the Lower Midwest.

I think I'm taking a road trip.

Unfortunately, I'm not. I realized I would have a lot of interactions where detransitioning would be the elephant in the room so it would be more trouble than it's worth. It sucks, but it is what it is.

My sister is staying in San Francisco and seeing so many people living on the streets is radicalizing her.

I feel like if Jacobin is calling out people for being assassination apologists, then it's hard to deny that some awful actors need to be culled from left-wing spaces.

And of course Bluesky went downhill after I posted this because this site is full of rotten people who think they can say inhuman things just because they think of themselves as progressive.
