Great run #Guardians. Starting pitching and relievers stepped up late season with Clase and Ortiz gone but our hitting is embarrassingly bad. Please Front Office go out and get 1-2 serviceable hitters. We can’t rely on minor league call ups over and over.

Agreed, though playing him in CF didn’t look great that first fly ball. The issue is how this points to how bad our lineup has been this year. How many teams make the playoffs with the 29th-30th best hitting? Guards are well run, but I wish they’d pay for a competent corner OF bat.

Fair, I was there Friday & didn’t see any bad behavior but saw the video of the beer throw, unacceptable & that person should be banished from PGA events for life. That’s over 30 years ago, so it wasn’t a rule many were aware of now until it factored into Sunday. Euros played great and deserve the Cup, but I think the rule needs changed regardless.

It would have put more pressure on the Euros on the later matches Sunday, which were all very close. It likely doesn’t change the outcome. I know it’s the rule for both teams but it gives advantage to the team ahead. Regardless it should be the same as a WD.

Yes, it should be the same as a Withdraw during the match. Maybe they add a 13 player who could only play with an injury designation to someone else but why would a team be rewarded to scratch?

While I am not sure I expect much out of the #Guardians in the playoffs, coming back from 15.5 games back to win the Division is amazing, Nice record to take over (especially from Yanks). I gave up on them after the 10 game losing streak. Playoffs is total bonus money.

Sadly he has been one of our best players! Bad punt there but he’s been the least of our problems.
