The Tory party continuing to tell everyone how they’re going to fix all of the problems in the UK, but never mentioning they caused them to begin with, shows a complete lack of learning from past mistakes. As per usual.

Because I still feel rubbish, I figured I’d watch a film I’ve been meaning to get around to. Heart Eyes is a slasher horror-comedy, and it’s great fun. I had zero expectations but I really enjoyed it.

I get the flu jab every year and rarely feel anything more than a bit of soreness in my arm, but this one has made me feel awful. Better than getting flu, but it still sucks.

The Pilgrims of the Damned seems to have gone over well.
β€œI truly love this series. And i didn't think anything would top Hellequin. Steve just makes the characters come to life, and you feel like you are friends with them. It's a great storyline, and hopefully, there will be many more to come.”

Glimmer of Hope has a scene where a bunch of people get murdered at a depot. Some of them were people I worked with. They thought it was funny.

Glad you’re enjoying it. I did fault data analysis for Siemens trains.

Just finished a sci-fi book set 200ish years in the future, and there was a point where a character was listing geniuses from their past. I knew what was coming before they even said his name, but I let out a disappointed sigh in the middle of Sainsbury’s when the narrator said Musk.

One of the big benefits of having a job I love doing, is I no longer dread a Sunday evening because it means I have to go to work tomorrow. Fulltime author for the win.

The new Naked Gun film is exceptionally good fun. 90 minutes of pure silliness.

Me this morning: I’m just going to play an hour of Ghost of Yōtei.
5 hours later: I regret nothing.

Would you like to win your own Church from my Assembly books? All you have to do is be a paid member on my patron, and at the end of October, you could win all 3 Assembly books (signed) and your very own crochet Church.

I’m going to start writing a new book tomorrow. Details later, but the start of a book is the most fun, most free, and most terrifying part of writing.

πŸ˜‚ I would be getting A LOT more messages asking what I was talking about.

Since my new book came out, I’ve been sent several messages by Americans asking what brown sauce is. Short answer: it’s a tangy, peppery, delicious sauce of the fried breakfast gods.

I slept through my alarm this morning 🀬

I won't be taking questions about just how late I was awake because I couldn't put this book down πŸ‘€

It's *still* got that little orange sticker, nearly a week after publication, with good reason

I would apologise for making you late, but I wouldn’t mean it. Sorry. πŸ˜‚

Seeing people I once liked and respected go down the rabbit hole of misinformation and hate, is awful. I’m not here to let you rant at me about your views, so go do it somewhere else.
You don’t get to only back the LGBTQ+ letters you like, if you don’t like that, the unfriend button is right there

I don’t think it’s official yet, but I won’t deny there will be more.

Who gives a shit what a Sky News poll says about who’s going to be the next PM? There’s no election for 4 years. This whole thing is just another UK media channel wanting to get clicks and views.

The proofreads for the 5th and final Riftborn book (Murder of Crows) are done. Genuinely proud of it, and I hope those who pick up the series enjoy how it ends.

New book out accompanied by that little orange sticker. I know it’s not the most important thing, but it’s nice to know that after nearly 30 books, people still buy my work.
