Deep Space 9 is still the best Star Trek has ever been.

I've definitely stopped reading within a few pages when I something bothers me. I once stopped reading a book because they used about a dozen metaphors for things within a page. It was the most bizarre thing I'd ever read.

It feels like a good amount to know if I want to keep reading.

50 pages (or 3 chapters) is enough to know whether or not I want to keep reading a book.

I know people have a lot of thoughts (good and bad) about the latest Star Trek films, but Karl Urban as Bones is a phenomenal piece of casting.

I’d heard about the plagiarism case, I think (if I remember right) they used actual lines from Sheckley’s story in the Running Man. The 80s were a wild time for people in film just doing whatever they liked.

Watched The Running Man for the first time in years. I didn’t remember the first 30 minutes being so slow, and the ending is abrupt, but it’s actually still a lot of fun.

Copyedits for A Murder of Crows are done. I hope those of you who have been reading the series enjoy the ending, it's something I loved writing. And if you haven't read the 4 Riftborn books that are out, you have 6 months to finish them before the finale is out.
