Some apps *cough Bluesky cough* make it a whole lot easier to find where to do that. I try to remember to do it everywhere, meta apps make it tougher to find but it is there!

Yes! Love it. This is exactly how I "art" as well. So many factors play into my daily inspo and what will satiate my soul. For the short and long term.

When I get stuck with writing, I make something, and when the writing block subsides I'll go back to my WIP.
I'm content to be actively creating, no matter what area. I can't work to market, or to others deadlines. Inspiration comes when it wants and won't be forced.

Full-time creatives who make a living from their art, I have a question:
Are you like me and spread your creativity around to multiple ventures (words, paint, sculpture,) or are you singularly focused? I like the brain-freeing method of working on what inspires while moving all forward. Thoughts?

Support an artist! Sharing their post means more eyes on their work. Liking their posts tells an algorithm to take notice. Shopping supports them directly. All are valid and really help!

Well there wouldn't be an "energy emergency" if tariffs weren't just imposed on countries where we import some of our fuel. As I said on the other platform, I hope a baby bear vomits directly into his open mouth. Then I hope he meets mama bear.

It really was good? This is one of my very favorite Poe stories of all time so I've been hesitant to watch. Like with King adapted movies, few are as good as the books, I didn't want to be disappointed.

A lot of people confuse writing with typing.

Writing isn’t typing.

It’s the entire process and yes that includes going for a walk or rearranging things in your office.

A chair made from orange toned wood has slats, a wide wheel base, and a tan seat cushion. It sits in front of a two tiered side table made of orange wood and fancy black iron swirls connecting corner mounted legs. It houses a shoe box on top and on top of that, a booted laptop sits, open. The mouse for the computer is on a separate smaller side table made of the same wood and iron and shaped in rounded triangles. The space is cramped and full of cables.

See this "janky excuse" for a workstation? Guess what I plan to do in this tiny corner of this spare bedroom? Give up? I plan to complete draft one of my first best selling novel. That's what.

Every artist I know is really struggling right now. Financially, emotionally, their confidence, in general.

If you like an artist's work, support them any way you can. Buying their stuff or subscribing to their Patreon is great, but words of encouragement are also incredibly helpful.

Yes indeed, they have seen some things. 🏜

Numerous large and multi-armed saguaro cactus dot the side of a small hill with dried out vegetation in front of a partly cloudy sky.

Saguaro are one of my favorite living things. They only grow in one place (Sonoran desert) and could be 75-100 before an arm appears. Talk about #resilience! They live in one of the driest places and house endless wildlife. We can learn from saguaro. Stand tall & #strong & shelter who you can. #love

If M-W is out for the wknd, I guess that means we're free to run amok! Or a race! Or across! Or a less awkward social media account than mine. #freakinweekend
