We are deciding right now whether we want to be a country with ethnic cleansing and concentration camps.

Karen has no criminal record. She is a grandmother who spent eight years working as an admin assistant at a primary school before her retirement. β€œI don’t even have parking tickets in the background anywhere,” she says. β€œI am not a dangerous criminal. I didn’t enter the country illegally and I had everything I needed to be there.”

So why did ICE detain her, and keep her locked up for so long? A possible answer began to emerge over the weeks she was incarcerated. As Karen got to know the guards at the Northwest ICE Processing Center where she was held, she kept hearing the same thing from them: that ICE officers are paid a bonus every time they detain someone. β€œIndividual ICE agents get money per head that they detain – the guards told me that,” Karen says.

Border Patrol is operating as bounty hunters.

Agents are apparently getting paid for each person they put in detention. Even if those people are grandmothers traveling on valid tourist visas.

An ICE agent shot and killed Ruben Ray Martinez, a US citizen and San Antonio resident, in March 2025. Then ICE and the Texas Department of Public Safety covered it up. He was 23 years old. I am calling for a full investigation into this shooting, including why there was an 8-month cover up.

Many said that the possibility of living next door to the state’s largest prison had forced them to question the state’s primarily punitive approach to incarceration for the first time.

93 out of 100 US Senators have taken money from and been funded by AIPAC.

That means 93 out of 100 Senators has an AIPAC handler who engages with them regularly to make sure they keep voting to fund Israel, no matter what the fuck it does.

Do you have a problem with that? Because I do.

Here's the self-serving ICE account. Normal cops don't behave like this. In situations where roads are blocked and officers are directing traffic, drivers are often confused, annoyed, and impatient. It shouldn't end like this! newsweek.com/ice-agent-fa...

Back in March LAST YEAR, ICE shot and killed a US citizen teenager through his car window, and it never admitted its role. ICE claims it was assisting traffic control (!?!) when the driver didn't follow its instructions. Fake cops. How many other killings are they concealing?

Keep in mind what war means. Even if you hate the regime. Mass death. Mass regional destabilization. Counter attacks. Blowback. Everything. Without legal authority

IMO it doesn't really matter. External aesthetics are far less important than things like accessibility, comfort, and convenience when it comes to living spaces. Though some drought resistant greenery along the roads would help. That's more a city thing than individual properties though.

Like, I can see the support beams, but that parking overhang makes me *so* nervous lol.

I'd still park there, but there'd be that little voice in the back of my head like "no jumping or you'll collapse the building and destroy your car" that I'd never be able to get to shut up

Nah, anyone who claims to be a universal expert like this guy is lying, particularly if they can't take criticism. Actual experts thank people for correcting them because they recognize that their knowledge is likely never going to be complete. This dude's ego could never handle that.

I have asked ICE and DHS why this migrant was hooded and partially straitjacketed today. Will let you know if I hear back.

In the past migrants have testified that they were put in the WRAP device for β€œinfractions” as small as asking to speak to one’s attorney.

The horror stories rolling in from Minnesota are just the tip of the iceberg. This 20-year-old, who's lawfully present in the country, was arrested for being Latino, then jailed in a filthy cell where he couldn't even sit down. 18 days of illegal detention. democracyforward.org/wp-content/u...

Savannah teacher killed in crash by man fleeing from ICE According to the Chatham County Police Department, Monday morning’s fatal crash was the result of a chase between Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and a suspect.

ICE killed a teacher in Georgia today when they chose to chase a man who posed no danger and had no criminal history.
