Since the demise of Boardlandia I've ordered a few things from Miniature Market & Game Nerdz. But it's very hit & miss whether they'll have what I'm looking for🤷‍♀️ Both are better for new-ish games & not so much for games no longer "hot". I've done well off Game Nerdz seasonal sales, fwiw.

I was shocked when Boardlandia went out of business last year. They were my go-to online store. I'd gotten an order from them a couple of weeks before they abruptly closed the website☹️ From what I can see from the article it looks like someone has opened an FLGS there, but no online shop.

FYI for those of you getting files ahead of PnP Arcade's closure, if you need help retrieving your files PnP Arcade is still answering emails.

I fear some people are going to be caught by surprise by their closure and not get their files☹️ It would've been better if people had more time and got an email about it.

I've just found out that PnP Arcade is closing down☹️ I've browsed them some, but can't recall if I've actually made a purchase through them🤔 Would I have gotten a "grab your files, we're closing" email if I'd used them? #boardgames

I did slightly better with 3 correct answers. One of your answers was really painful because ya'll didn't know it was a real place, thinking it was descriptive or metaphorical. I've been there. It's beautiful. And rainy. Saw no fairies. Did nothing magical. Yet...it's seared in my memory❤️

They sound great! I've seen pictures of the National Park decks, but don't have any (yet). Some of my decks have art for face cards & jokers, but Eastern Forest, the deck with classic Japanese artwork, and the Rabbit deck has unique art for each card!

Do you have place-specific decks that you get on trips? Or decks you get that will remind you of a place?

UD's announcement is baffling. Either they're a boardgame publisher who pays NO attention to what's happening in the #boardgame community (eg: furious backlash against CGE re: Potter license) or they knew & decided to give the finger to the LGBTQ+ community. Clueless or malicious is not a good look🙄

My final board, character Dr Kaneko. I think this was the most buildings I've ever ended with. 6 buildings (including Flag). 3 people on the board, 4 food stacked, 2 money, all 4 Work action tokens on the board. Visible above my board is the building discard (had to reshuffle the building deck for the first time ever), the Progress deck facedown, and the final event card on top of the already played cards in the Progress deck.
