Yes, the standard farsighted lens Medicare pays for in one eye. I couldn't get that in the other eye, the cataract was too large. So I have a 1+ there. Maybe I'm not a good candidate for different focus. The 1+ was my dominant eye. Which could be a coding problem?

That was what I was expecting. But I decided to go see my optometrist before getting glasses, just to be sure. And found out the tiny astigmatism has pulled my 20/20 to 20/40 in just a couple of weeks.

Define "tiny astigmatism." Sigh. Don't know if this is getting complicated, or just multi-glass.

This won't be worse, because I really had lost so much color. And I can see things in the night sky now. But I have a bad feeling I am going to be one of the 10% on this. (Hoping it's just long term PTSD on medical outcomes.) At least I am not back to "can't see color."

I've done maybe a half dozen "fixes" for it on my phone, and I have been holding Tahoe at arms' length for weeks. I can fix one focus level on one item at a time. But the constantly shifting layers, plus LED brightness I cannot reduce far enough (at least not yet, 2 months from last surgery) arrgh.

Yup. I am, too. But I still can't see through Liquid Glass. So cheaters may not solve this. In the end, it's how our computers interact with the lens.

I'll probably be able to get in on Monday. We'll troubleshoot.

I think this confirms that someone else is writing his posts. I would be surprised if he remembered that there are two acronyms connected to unidentified objects in space. Just don't think adding a newer acronym would be a big deal to him.

Has anyone seen articles or research on people having trouble reading computer screens after cataract surgery? My iPhone remains a nightmare, as does the MacAir.
