I miss BBC microbot. With all this whizz bang stuff we have now it's the simplicity of it. 160 char programs.
How did Geoff do this in just this code? There is hardly any code!
They are all amazing programmers as far as I am concerned. It still inspires me to fiddle around with it.

New Day

I've been mucking around with AI and editing our Telepaint Teletext editor. I got it to edit the BBC basic code and add a robot animation. Before the AI would have failed miserably.
I asked for a planet, spaceship,window and whacky robots. I would have had to import sprites before. Now it codes them

I tried that Meta Hyperscape thing. Amazing. Guassian Splats. What impressed me is that it capture outside the bedroom window - all in VR. How did it detect that space? Incredible.
It reminds me of 'Cold Lazarus'. Memories and photos in VR. That series was ahead of it's time and was prophetic.

Is it me or is everyone skint already at the beginning of February? It was bad enough getting through January.
I need to get some dentures for my back teeth and then the AI is zapping the wallet. But being able to chew food is the priority. Monster munch feels weird with no top left back teeth!

I finally got AMX 3d Zicon working. This one is the CPC version. I can't get the beeb one to work. Let me know if anyone gets that working. I am on OSX which doesn't help with emulation/AMX

Cursor AI is totally amazing.
After hearing people talk about it and fiddling with it and giving up I can now understand why everyone goes on about it.
It edits your code so all you have to do is prompt it. No more cutting and pasting. Wish I'd discovered this a year earlier!
