It's a political cartoon, signed by the artist as "Bloper". The cartoon is of 4 white men standing in an alley, all dressed in suits, facing off 2 against 2. The two opposing men and one of the men on the near side are all brandishing daggers. The closest, however, a balding man, is carrying a tome of some kind. The caption reads "'Did you bring parliamentary procedure to a knife fight again?'". I can't stress enough how much I am that balding man, lol.

A dual post on tumblr by user genderfluid-druid. The first post (dated December 22) reads "hurr hurr I'm a human body hurr hurr I'm gonna solve all my problems using mucus". The second post (dated the same day) reads "'I require more fluids' well what did you do with the fluids I already gave you. hmm? did you make more mucus with them? you made more mucus with them.". It has strong "but i maked these" sad gallbladder comic vibes, and I love it (and, again, feel it deeply in my bones)

I know very little of Silksong and it will probably remain that way, but based on the fact that the silhouette here is one of the final bosses, I can only assume that the entire game is about Edna Mode finally cracking over her hatred of capes when she sees Hornet.

Clouds speckle the shot of downtown Chicago from however high a plane gets by the time it passes the Loop after taking off from O’Hare. The shot is looking south, with Navy Pier and the Sears Tower plainly visible. A wingtip can be seen, but it doesn’t block the view. The city is gorgeous, as it always is.

I maxed out my exposure time to like 10-15 seconds. Not sure how Phil got his 2 minute exposure though 🤔 a tripod probably would help as well!

The Milky Way is clearly bisected by the Great Rift: vast clouds of dust from which new stars will some day be made, but for now simply absorb the light from the galaxy.

I’ve consistently been shocked at what phone cameras can pick up these days. My phone picked up Andromeda in Michigan last year! I literally never even thought that was possible!

A close up of a partially knit (about 1 skein of yarn in) blanket; at its current width it’d be a great blanket for a snake. The yarn is a maroon or a burgundy, and the blanket is segmented into squares for a pattern. Stitch markers, along with one end of a connected pair of knitting needles, can be seen along the bottom, while various knickknacks and (let’s face it) clutter can be seen at the top. Ideally the blanket looks cozy.

Knitting my nephew a blanket and I forgot how relaxing knitting can be. Pretty happy with how the pattern is coming out so far.

It was, perhaps, inevitable that this humble bundle drops on the same day my hard copies of the series are due to be delivered, but sure, @marthawells.com, take more of my money!

I suspect I have preached the wonders of Murderbot to everyone on here at one time or another, but this is an excellent way to grab the books if you are looking to read them!!

I don't know why but I was absolutely delighted when Victor made a brief appearance.

It's a Simpsons reference because of course it is. Marge is driving Bart and Lisa in the station wagon, and the kids are both looking a little full of ennui. Marge, her hair scrunched against the roof of the car, is saying "Devs, could you lighten up a little?". It's because Expedition 33 is a very, very dark game, you see.

Also I started Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 a few days ago and this is basically how I feel about things so far

Finally watched the fallout season 2 trailer and I am so very, very glad that I finally played New Vegas last year lol

I loved WYOW so much even as I got mad at it for The Trick in it but it was uncanny how well you knew the order fans would likely take. A much deserved win and CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I am enjoying thinking about just how much Murderbot would hate getting a cake like this.
