Reform UK accept £9m from a Thai based businessman and few questions are being asked. We desperately need party political funding reform to stop foreign money influencing politics. Reform UK Party Ltd is not a political party it's a business, time to wake up and follow the money.

People like Tomlinson are vile, but the fact they are given air time is shameful. The silence of 'mainstream' media to challenge this rhetoric and opinion speaks loudly about their acquiescence. I do wonder when the push back will start, probably when it's too late.

An Evening with @andyburnham.bsky.social and @metromayorsteve.bsky.social was full of heartfelt stories of tragedy, uplifting takes on urban revival and plenty of jokes. Both made the case for devolution, showing what a success 'placed based' politics can be. And I got a signed copy of their book!
