When you start screaming about things you or someone else didn't say, you come off as mentally ill. When that happens, people don't give credence to what you're saying, they just want you to get help.

Wonderful things have been done with the concept but I think superheroes have inherent ties to fascism. They're about people using their superiority to solve problems with force while being answerable to no one. Add to that vigilantism has historically been mired in bigotry.

The point of fascism is for the leadership to gain and maintain power. They stoke hate to gain support and use fear to extort concessions. Liberals cling to the status quo and rule of law and can't conceive of their system being taken away from them. Look how the liberals reacted to Pinochet.

The issue isn't a complex subject. A nation is committing systematic mass murder and our tax dollars go towards arming them so they can do the killing. Biden backed down from any opportunity to stop them. Harris ran from the issue aside from condemning protestors.
