The Dems blinked. Again. People sent them a powerful message on No Kings Day and again at the elections. And the Democratic leadership said, “Eh? What? Huh?”

I cannot agree. This gives up what the Democrats were fighting for (which was only a little of what they should have been fighting for) in return for … nothing. The GOP will renege on the promised vote. The president will ignore the proposed rollback of RIFs. Pressure on the GOP will disappear.

It doesn't actually matter if Chuck Schumer votes for this or not.

If he can't keep his caucus unified to protect healthcare for over 10 million Americans, he should resign as leader.
