i honestly really like it - i like that i can't be good at everything in a single playthrough (this was a problem i had with 1 - get high enough into the leadership skill and you could rotate companions out to basically be good at everything)

Worth noting that the “new massacre of civilians by jihadists” Drew is referring to here was committed by a guy called Anthony Williams, and a rail worker who is currently in hospital after protecting people during the attack is called Samir Zitouni

Really cool outer worlds 2 detail i just noticed - i picked the professor background option for my first run and i *think* this is meant to be my characters degree in the ship's cabin.

I decided to pick up all 6 on my first playthrough, Tristans intro quest is pretty fun (lots of detective work type stuff) and mechanically he's pretty great, very tanky which is helpful

I'm quite happy to "take" a small contribution to stopping Ukrainian citizens being slaughtered in their hundreds of thousands.

Oh Max is still probably my favourite companion from either game yeah, but out of the ones here I think I'd have Marisol and Niles as favs

Thinking more on it - in general outer worlds 2 has one of the best companion rosters they've ever done

I'm enjoying that Outer Worlds 2 has the coolest companion character Obsidian have done since Raul Tejada

The Dwemer tampering with the laws of reality until they zapped out of existence, leaving only a bunch of weird steampunk relics and servitors behind, is a prime example. And the assorted kooks and psychopaths of House Telvanni, of course.

One of the many things I love about Morrowind is how it treats mages as basically mad scientists, not mystics or druids. Every town has a wizard’s lair filled with weird experiments. A guy plummets to his death next to you because a magic scroll allowed him to jump into the sky.

first hour of outer worlds 2 done - really solid stuff. gunplay feels great

talking equipment is one of those things i'm very 50/50 on - i do remember finding the stealth suit from one of the new vegas dlcs very funny though

Do think there's really not a lot of Who (be it on TV, Audio, prose etc) that comes close to these two stories

This team of villains was always my favorite set of Transformers. I love their individual personalities, live that these construction vehicles were cast as bad guys of destruction, and Devastator is the coolest combiner!
