Dear Matt, Arsenal were founded in 1886. I think is pretty dumbfounded to ignore 80 years of history as an argument for your sake. Obviously Adidas (and Arsenal) were thinking of Arsenals whole history of kit colors and combined that pretty nicely with the 20 year anniversary of Highbury.

Fun fact: Arsenal actually have a greater history with the white shirts than with yellow and blue ones.

Next time, don't write a question if your uninterested in the answers. It comes across as dishonest. Just write your opinion.

You ask for a theory as to why arsenal are "slow off the mark" and get plenty of reasonable ones. But you don't engage with them in a way that indicates you were interested in their answers, only to reiterate a point.
