but the WORST sin (spoiler) is the reveal the baddies are cooking drugs in the park. DEEP in a NATIONAL PARK. Are they backpacking in and out all that gear and material? think about it. It's ridiculous. national parks are NOT hotbeds of drug activity. it's just not believable

2. the park head yelling about "you better solve this murder or we're gonna lose tourists to disney" is dumb. it's manufactured stakes.
3. sometimes this show is genuinely clever. sometimes way too reliant on bad tropes like guy shoves mud into a bullet wound. that's from old tv shows, not life.

So the netflix show #untamed is pretty good, but as an author of thrillers set in national parks, I have to rant a little.
1. it wants to be a gritty noir set in the national park. boss yelling about results, the park cops drowning their sorrows after work, unsavory types running drugs... (thread)

shame the ancient world discovered the planets and named em after their stupid gods like "jupiter" and "saturn." if we named them today we coulda had cool planets like "money" and "xbox"

I did it. Honour mode on #bg3 . Got it on my 2nd attempt. First one ended tragically when i clicked on the wrong thing and was swiftly TPKed by a group of guards. Such is life.
