“Dems need to be strategic” applies to the past few decades. It hasn’t happened yet. The GOP was uber-strategic relative to the judiciary and to mass communication reality-replacement theory.

Waiting for democrats to be strategic and not compromised and ineffective is what got us to this point.

Affirm all that is good and true and real. Be there, for yourself and for each other. Do what you can where you can, stay engaged with what is nourishing, vital and essential in life.
