The leadership for the Dems!!!

Time for a leadership change. Democrats in the Senate need to accept the horrific reality and hold the line against tyranny. Finally, the Ds can do something and they run away with their tails between their legs, shameful.

What is wrong with giving a new leader a chance? A new approach, a fresh approach. Someone who has integrity, leadership skills, represents a key state, has guts and the confidence of the base. Time to put ego aside and screw seniority. This is my nominee.

It’s shocking that Democratic leadership in the Senate have their heads in the sand. This will destroy the Democratic Party, our country, and erode global democratic civilization.

I am extremely concerned about the arrest and detention of Mahmoud Khalil, an advocate and legal permanent resident of Palestinian descent.

My office is monitoring the situation, and we are in contact with his attorney.

It’s certainly not ok, but it is relevant as to motive, state of mind, etc. and a jury could decide if it was a manslaughter or 2nd degree murder. They could have been convicted, but potentially had life sentence with the possibility of parole. Other victims of the father have come forward.

Resentencing would make them eligible for parole. They pose no risk to the community, there were serious mitigating factors that the jury didn’t get to hear.

They were tried and there was a mistrial. In the second trial, the prosecutor moved to have all of the testimony and evidence regarding the defendants sexual, psychological and physical abuse excluded (it was included in the first trial). The evidence was excluded and they were convicted.
