it was the kind of laugh that’s fine in a crowded theater, NOT on an airplane + smushed next to a stranger who just wants to sleep. I sounded insane. I turned off the movie and didn’t finish it until my flight home 🤓

reminded of when I was flying last year and the dungeons & dragons movie was available, so I watched it. I was enjoying it all very normally, but when the scene of chris pine’s bard illusion failing came on, I laughed so hard I got embarrassed lolol

I’m listening to a mesh of the wicked movie soundtrack and wicked broadway soundtrack while I clean. I think if we returned to movie musicals with theater kids at the helm, we’d start to heal. I’m sick of non-singers being taught how to sing for a role. you should have been in the trenches!!!!

going to see wicked today - a friend (who saw it last week) wants to go again and watch my reactions lol. my brain cannot reconcile that trailer + some short clips I’ve seen with this being a good movie, let alone an amazing one, so! I’m really intrigued

akasha was the best/most complex, so I’m ripping my hair out in anticipation for what the show will do. gabrielle, lestat’s mother, will be phenomenal too - I can feel it deep inside my soul 🙂‍↕️

I’ve been so impressed with how interesting and nuanced they’ve made the female characters on this show compared to the books. it’s honestly shocking. madeleine was a NOTHING character, and most others had flashes of something but anne just did not write women well lol imho.

another flying scene as a reconciliation would be so romantic to me. esp if it happens after all the business with akasha and they almost lose each other. I just want these crazy kids to work it out!

I’m not really on board with the idea that louis misremembered something like this, or armand being a scapegoat for lestat’s actions. lestat admitted it happened and why it happened, and how it haunted him.

my belief is that louis has already forgiven lestat (tho perhaps doesn’t trust him yet) but grapples with admitting that because he feels like he still shouldn’t. it’s so human and layered and I’m so excited for their season 3 dynamic!

honestly good on you for not crashing, b/c assad has his finger on the fandom’s pulse and it’s so stressful. sometimes I realize it’s very, very likely he has seen/read dm fanfiction and I start sweating

I need to figure out how to handle a friendly acquaintance who sends me atrociously unfunny memes all the time. we’re not close enough for me to be blunt and I don’t want to hurt her feelings, so I guess I’m stuck, lol

the vampire sam. I get constantly roped into training new people at work, and one time I was accused of something I clearly did not do and the truth came out dramatically (lost sweatshirt found in accuser’s closet).
