I'm reading Camp Damascus by @chucktingle.bsky.social and it's giving me that reading rush I used to get back in junior high reading Stephen King novels. Like the drive to abandon all other commitments and needs and just devour the book.

That's kinda mean to our cat, weather app. Fog may be getting older, but she's not dense.

Well, I'll add that to the task list. It doesn't help me go fishing on my Deck now, but it will help Future Jim.

Just tripped over the Steam "feature" that prevents me from playing on my Steam Deck while my son is playing a game on my account on my computer. Lame.

Bright orange jeans draped over the edge of a tub and a collapsible bathroom stool. The jeans are wet, fresh from the washer.

My oldest loves bright orange clothes, but the styles around here have been much more muted colors. So I bought him a pair of white pants and we dyed them ourselves. So happy with how they came out.

There was one of those like 6 jointed cranes, perched on its back wheels, with flaps out for jacks to level it looking like wings. The driver's in the cab, just chilling in mid-air, so I yelled "You're flying!" Realized he couldn't hear me, so put out my arms like an airplane. He gave me a big grin.

Whelp. There's the end of the 2025 Cubs season. Now to try to get a little more sleep before everyone wakes up.

Waking up at 2am here in Stockholm to listen to game 5 of the Cubs-Brewers series. Already a fun game in the second, so not regretting this decision, now. We'll see how I feel when the boys wake up.

It is important to take your TV with you when biking through the park on nice days like this, so it doesn't feel lonely.
