Federal workers just spent 2 months getting fucked by this, but still showed up to work because they knew what it meant.

If you're a federal worker, the right thing to do at this point would be to shut the whole country down.

I've looked at all the details of this deal to end the shutdown reached by a small group of Senate Democrats. I've talked to a number of friends on the Hill to see if there's anything I'm missing. Sadly, I am not.

This is a shit deal. It's a betrayal. It's cowardice.

A select few Democrats are will be voting against the public interest.

They will be effectively killing ACA. They will be denying millions coverage. They will be increasing long term costs.

And why?

Because they don't actually care.

There will be hell to pay for Democrats supporting this.
