My boi says he listens to the land, to the sky, to the wind, and now, they lie to him. They change their minds too fast. He’s asking, You, with your hands and machines, with your profits and words, do you see? Do you feel it? If you don’t, maybe you’ve can’t hear. Maybe you never listened at all.

We celebrate beauty, resilience, and cultural pride through the sacred tradition of ribbon skirts. More than garments—they are a reflection of identity, heritage, and connection to the land.

Ribbon skirts honor our strength our stories, and generations of wisdom we carry forward.

What I want for the holidays is less labor. I want women to be able to feel loved & appreciated the same way we try to make our families feel thru all the care and work we put into making the holidays beautiful. I want us to feel loved, special and cherished, the same way we love and cherish.

Welcome to the fight for equal pay! Action Center

This wage gap can cost Native women over a million dollars over the course of their careers.

TAKE ACTION:
👉 Urge federal lawmakers to pass the federal Paycheck Fairness Act, Healthy Families Act, and FAMILY Act to achieve equity for Native Women. Visit p2a.co/ljlIov5

Welcome to the fight for equal pay! Action Center

💡 The wage gap for Native women is poorly understood due to a lack of comprehensive data on the 574 federally recognized tribes. Colonialism, genocide, systemic violence, and sexism all contribute to this disparity, with Native women earning just 55 cents for every dollar earned by white men.

Native women in the U.S. have never been fully compensated for labor, despite being the land’s original inhabitants. On Native Women’s Equal Pay Day, we highlight that it would take nearly an extra year for Native American women to earn what white men make in 1 year, with some facing even lower pay.

Hope is a sacred thread that connects us to our ancestors and guides us to a brighter, collective future. Our stories, our survival, our legitimate presence, and physical existence! Should remind us, that even in hard times, our strength and vision endure. Together, we rise. #IndigenousHope

In my understanding, hope, is more than a feeling—it’s a call to action. Native youth and leaders turning hope into action toward change. Proving in the alignment of our hearts and minds, and that when we uplift each other, there’s no limit to what we can achieve.

Grateful to be in community lately. Reminded of how our ancestors carried hope through generations. Today, if we chose, we can continue to carry that same hope, guiding us through challenges and reminding us that the future is ours to create.
