Badenoch: Curb students taking 'rip-off' degrees such as English The performing arts, sociology and anthropology are among the subjects the Conservatives would like to cut

So, the plan is to cut English, the arts, and sociology - the degrees that actually study culture - while on another part of your platform claiming to โ€œdefendโ€ British culture.

Itโ€™s performance nationalism with a reading age of seven.

Different strategies and wording, but same outcome, people denied rights. You cannot in reality condemn the Tories, or Reform, plans for leaving the ECHR and support Labour's plan of restricting it for certain groups. All that shows is you don't care about human rights, you only care about yours.

Any time a politician says we should leave the ECHR, the very next questions any interviewer should ask are
๐ŸšจWhich human rights are you willing to lose personally
๐ŸšจWhich methods of torture are you going to allow people to be sent to face
๐ŸšจWhich family members would you be willing to lose

Kemi Badenoch vows to repeal Climate Change Act Tory leader says she would replace it with โ€˜cheap energyโ€™ strategy, ending decades-long consensus on climate

Kemi Badenoch has vowed to repeal the UKโ€™s Climate Change Act, a move so reckless it demands more scrutiny than polite debate. This matters not just for polar bears or coral reefs, but for our people, our economy, our very future.

This comment nails it. Frankly itโ€™s none of anyoneโ€™s business who else is in a public lavatory, even if they consider someone is in the โ€œwrongโ€ one. If youโ€™re upset by the mere presence of somebody else for reasons of your own beliefs, thatโ€™s your problem.
