I realized that I hadn't posted anything in a while, so here's some minor updates: my dog Heidi is alive but disabled (she can no longer stand unassisted); I turned 37 on the first; and my fourth T shot is tomorrow (I haven't noticed any changes but it's too early really)

Apparently I have a fairly rare DVD set still in the original packaging. I found a copy on eBay listed for around $100 USD.

I'm too good at putting things away somewhere safe. I bought a card for my dad ages ago and now I can't find it.

Heidi ate an entire can of dog food! She's still resting a lot and doing a lot of barking, but at least she ate something.

My T is here! And it's classy AF. I was going to make a fancy kit but it came in this nice box with a magnetic closure.

Heidi seems to be doing a little better today, she drank a good amount of water and went outside to use the bathroom. Still not interested in food.

I am very tired it's 3 AM and I only got 4 1/2 hours of sleep yesterday, but I don't want to sleep because I don't want to leave Heidi alone.

She's resting quietly but she hasn't gotten up in several hours. She hasn't eaten anything, but I got her to drink some water. I really don't think she has much longer to live. She's 15 and I knew that this was coming, but still.

If my package arrives as scheduled, I will do my first t shot Friday! Which is also Friday the 13th, which pleases the goth buried deep within me greatly.

I need a bedroom door I can open and close from bed, because the dog wants in, the dog wants out, and I want to not get up

Thank you! It was a very impulsive decision and I'm so glad I got over my hangups about spending 'so much' money on myself and about coming out to my extended family. I've decided that I'll just tell them if they ask 😆

A week and a half ago I somehow managed to stab my finger with my glasses earpiece. It's been sore since then, but today it looks infected. Trying fish antibiotics for the first time since it's a lot cheaper than a clinic.

Just realized that I got a solid six hours of sleep last night. No 4 am dog break. Which I guess explains why I didn't have any exhaustion today, unlike almost every other day.

Just woke up from a mid day nap complete with headache and nightmare. 👍

I have once again flown too close to the sun (had cheese and milk at the same meal while lactose intolerant)

He was 15. 14 years ago he showed up in our yard and was immediately incredibly friendly, flopping over in front of our cats even though he was bigger than them. He was the sweetest cat I've ever had.
