The aspect I appreciated most was the close-up camera shots and rotating angles. In another movie that could have resulted in viewer disorientation, but in this it was very effective to hammer home the character disorientation.

Saw it today. Does what it says in the box, even better than expected.

The kill order and first couple gore scenes were actually surprising. They went a bit heavy on the Carpenter-esque score but generally the technical aspects were great. (1/2)

I wholly disagree that it would have been the same movie. I would not have watched if it didn't have the ridiculously overqualified cast then I would have missed out on the pleasing cozy mystery. Its fun to see these actors get paid for mostly showing up. Naomi Ackie is the unexpected delight
