When you really think about it, the biggest takeaway from the two games in Brooklyn is that Texas Tech is a school for moral degenerates.

Glad Texas won, obviously, but wow Tech is filled with the worst humans imaginable.

Onyema had an incredible block that was called a foul because I can only imagine the refs didn't believe what they just saw could happen without contact

Patience from Mark and Johnson will be critical the rest of this game.

Onyema’s best game as a Horn this far? Big minutes from him.

This is a Weaver kind of game. Hopefully he can stay in the game in the second half.

This team is way gifted, but has a LONG way to go with figuring out how to gel together.

Looking forward to Pope’s coming out party. I get him taking things thoughtfully, but he’s really good.

Shedrick’s hard hedging was, admittedly, better than I would have assumed.

Larry and Chendall can be nightmare stuff for opponents, eventually, on the defensive end. Just have to figure out timing and comfort with how/when to blow up ball screens.

Kadin takes FOREVER to survey and move. Not a terrible game from him at all, but man he slogs things up when he’s decision making.

Kaluma’s offense was nice but it was his defensive consistency today that gave me the most comfort.

Steady and controlled from him on both ends.

Tre’s patience and maturity in the first half is appreciable, but Texas could use him shot hunting when things are a struggle like they were.

But when he’s cooking…dang.

For the fourth straight game, Texas’ guards were much better attacking the paint in the second half.

Either they figure out how to get paint touches off the bounce in the first half of games or they doom themselves to even more slow starts.
